In Western Australia, Aurizon has a large operational footprint that connects our customers across the state with markets, processing facilities and export terminals at Geraldton, Kwinana, Fremantle, Bunbury, Albany and Esperance.
We also provide specialised rail infrastructure services for a customer that operates heavy-haul iron ore railways in the Pilbara.
Rail services
We have a strong operating capability with scale in terminals, dedicated rollingstock and a skilled team that deliver safely and reliably for customers across a variety of bulk commodities. These include iron ore, cobalt, alumina, fuels, chemicals, industrial products and grain.
Our scale in Western Australia, coupled with our bulk haulage expertise, allows us to deliver additional services and capacity for customers when needed. This includes rollingstock maintenance services, specialist rail services such as grinding, integrated logistics and surge capacity for additional rail haulage services when customers are challenged to meet demand peaks or presented with a growth opportunity.
