Aurizon is seeking expressions of interest from qualified Train Controllers. These are fast paced roles in which you will coordinate responses to incidents or accidents that happen within the Aurizon Network.

About the role:

  • Deliver high levels of service performance on the defined area of the Aurizon network by managing, controlling and monitoring the movement of trains and on-track vehicles.
  • Ensure that Network Control activities comply with all safety requirements specified in legislation, Aurizon's Safety and Security Management System and Aurizon Network Pty Ltd business instructions.
  • Ensure that rail operators and infrastructure providers are provided with the correct track access in accordance with the daily train plan, specified train plans, contractual requirements, possession protocols and contingency plans where relevant.
