As an Accounts Payable Advisor at Aurizon Corporate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes. You will be responsible for providing expertise to the onshore and offshore AP teams, as well as assisting in the coordination and supervision of all areas of Accounts Payable. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with monitoring internal controls, segregation of duties, and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Develop and prepare reports for senior management. Maintain and reconcile all Accounts Payable General Ledger accounts and provide commentary, analysis, and advice to stakeholders on Accounts Payable-related data.
  • Provide accurate and timely advice in response to enquiries and requests from the Accounts Payable team, management, and both internal and external customers.
  • Act as a subject matter expert.
  • Assist in implementing internal controls.
  • Ensure a commitment to high-quality customer service.
  • Make recommendations for improvements, actions, and training content or framework enhancements.
  • Establish and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

About You:

  • 3-5+ years of experience within accounts payable or procurement.
  • Extensive knowledge of accounts payable and purchasing processes.
  • High level of skill in the preparation, analysis, and presentation of reports.
  • High level of skills in providing high-quality professional advice to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of written and oral communication skills.
