We’re seeking an Experienced Senior Asset Management Systems Specialist to join our Asset Management Systems team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and managing asset management & maintenance systems that align with Aurizon’s asset strategy and business objectives. You’ll ensure that these systems maintain data integrity, quality, security, and accessibility to support effective asset maintenance and operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage Asset Management &Maintenance Management Systems, ensuring optimal system, data, and work process configuration.
  • Create and oversee asset data strategy, governance frameworks, and processes to ensure regulatory compliance, data security, quality, and accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to align key systems with business strategy and enhance end-user functionality.
  • Manage and administer access authorities and policies for Asset Management & Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align asset management & maintenance system processes with enterprise governance standards.
  • Ensure the accurate and compliant transition of approved asset & maintenance master data across systems and projects.
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver on-the-job training to support system adoption and user proficiency.

About you: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or significant experience in a similar role.
  • Extensive skill in the operation, application, and interfaces of Maintenance Management Systems (SAP or similar)
  • Experience with other asset management systems
  • Experience with User acceptance testing (UAT) of Asset Management & Maintenance ManagementSystems
  • High level of skill in data analysis, with experience using data and reporting systems
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
